Further expansion of the fleet of large cranes
Bracht is increasingly involved in large to extremely large hoisting projects requiring the use of crawler cranes. The company therefore invests in new equipment that can perfectly meet the high demands of such construction sites.
2013-2016
Investing in the future
The credo of mastering the present and being well equipped for future tasks has defined Bracht’s corporate policy ever since the company was founded, and it is still going strong in the present day. To successfully tackle current and future challenges, Bracht purchases six next-generation CC 3800 lattice boom crawler cranes between 2013 and 2016 alone. Three of these are equipped with so-called “Boom Boosters”, which allow significant improvements in load capacity of up to 30% when working in close proximity.
2020
Our second LTM 1450
After a very positive experience with the Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 since 2018, the company offers its second telescopic mobile crane with a load capacity of 450 t in this performance category from July 2020. The crane’s 85-metre-long telescopic boom means that it is often not necessary to attach a lattice jib to extend the boom. The 1450 can lift an impressive weight of 20 t with a fully extended telescopic boom and is therefore ideal for assembling large tower cranes. The VarioBase and VarioBallast features are extremely valuable on construction sites with limited space.
2022
The maximum on eight axles
The successor to the legendary Liebherr LTM 1500 – the most-sold large crane ever – is the new Liebherr LTM 1650. This eight-axle crane can effortlessly hoist weights in the 700 t category and even beyond. In terms of load capacity, the LTM 1650 can therefore bear between 15 and 20 percent more than its predecessor depending on how it is rigged.
